Details:

Matching transformer was not with unit was used directly. The side chrome decor strips are serviceable. Metal cabinet is in nice shape and it has no major dents. The fronts piece wood Enid rate as fair to better than fair but only because the wood en logo face lamination's have weakened at the bottom.

Early radio catalogs market this speaker as a Hallicrafters 12 inch speaker. The metal cabinet is fine and could be refinished nicely. Chuck dachas told me that it never had a formal name so far as his records go and that squares with the catalog that I found.

Condition the cabinet is in good condition as appears the speaker. Voice coil tests good YMMV. For some reason, probably convenience, dealers began selling it as the r 12 or r 12 t. Any matching transformer with amounting pattern of will mount without modifying or jury rigging the speaker.

It was the baby brother to the larger Hallicrafters 15 in speaker often shown with dd 1 displays. As a collectible, you should try to work with it as it is.
